Bhubaneswar: Light rain accompanied by thunderstorm is likely to continue in some districts of Odisha till Friday morning, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Thursday.
According to the midday bulletin, light rain thunderstorm may occur at one or two places in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri. Dry weather is likely across Odisha thereafter. There will be no charge large in the maximum and minimum temperature at many places in the state during the next 5 days.
While the well-marked low pressure area over north Mizoram and adjoining Manipur and Myanmar has become less marked, a cyclonic circulation lies over over Southwest Bay of Bengal off Tamil Nadu coast, the weather agency added.
