Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha are likely to experience light to moderate rain for two days from November 20, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday.
Under the influence of westerly winds and easterly wave, there will be light to moderate rain in some districts of the state on November 20 and 21, it said.
After two days of dry weather, parts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, and Puri are likely to experience light to moderate rain on November 20.
Similar weather conditions will prevail in Ganjam, Gajapati, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, and Puri the next day. The rest of the state will remain dry, a weather bulletin issued by the IMD stated.
The Met Centre said there will be no large change in minimum temperature (night temperature) during the next 3-4 days. The mercury may gradually fall by 2-4 degree Celsius at many places over the districts of Odisha thereafter.
