Bhubaneswar: The regional office of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued thunderstorm and lightning warning for 15 districts of Odisha.
According to the afternoon bulletin of IMD, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Angul, Jajpur, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Cuttack, Kendrapada, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur and Dhenkanal are likely to experience thunderstorm and lightning between 1.30 pm and 5.30 pm.
People in these districts have been advised to take shelter in nearby building or other safety locations.
