Deogarh: A man was killed in a lightning strike at Kadapata village near Barkote in Deogarh district on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Sahadeb Sahoo.
Sources said the incident took place when Nor’wester rain accompanied by lightning and thunder lashed the area. Sahadeb died on the spot.
Police have sent the body for postmortem.
