Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm with gusty wind is likely to strike 11 Odisha districts in the next two hours.
A warning issued by the regional Centre of India Meteorological Department stated that some parts of Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Gajapati, Ganjam and Dhenkanal are likely to witness the thunderstorm and lightning with with wind speed reaching up to 40 kmph.
The previous warning for the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh and Angul persists, stated the IMD warning.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
