Liquor Shops To Remain Closed In Green Zone Gajapati District

Bhubaneswar: A day after Gajapati district was bracketed as Green Zone by the government, the collector issued a fresh list of guidelines which prohibit opening of liquor shops during the extended lockdown period.

The regulations that will remain in effect from May 4 to 17 continue with closure of educational institutions, religious places, movement of vehicles and people, malls, cinema halls, sports complexes, gymnasiums, bars, and social gathering among other things.

The permissible establishments and activities can be carried on from 6 am to 10 am and 5 pm to 7 pm, the collector said in the order.

Persons above 65 years of age, pregnant women and children below 10 years will not be allowed to move out of home except in case of emergency like medical needs, the order stated.
