Jajpur: Excise officials have seized a vehicle carrying costly liquor hidden inside vegetables and arrested one person in this connection.
The Excise officials searched the vehicle at vegetable market on Balashram field and found 45 litre of liquor of reputed brands worth Rs four lakh. The vehicle had come from Kolkata.
The officials also arrested one Dipti Ranjan Rout of Udrang area under Binjharpur police limits for alleged involvement in smuggling of liquor.
