Bhubaneswar: The Quick Action Team (QAT) of Commissionerate Police arrested a liquor trader from Palasuni here late on Saturday.
The accused was identified as Hadibandhu Routray, who was running a shop at Palasuni. Several weapons and 300 litres of foreign liquor were seized from his possession.
Police sources said a raid was conducted in the area on specific information. Sensing trouble, Routray attacked the cops with a sword. He, however, was nabbed after a little struggle.
