Liquor Trader Beaten To Death In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A liquor trader was allgedly beaten to death by an unidentified miscreant at Station Bazaar here Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as P. Kameswar Reddy, a resident of Phalikia slum.
Reddy was immediately rushed to Capital Hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries on the way.
As soon as the news spread, residents of  the slum gathered on the hospital premises and demanded immediate arrest of the accused.
Basing on a complaint lodged by Teddy’s family members, police have detained a person for his alleged involvement in the case.
According to eyewitness, Reddy was coming out of a saloon when a person hit him on the head with a bamboo plank.
