List Of Business In Odisha Assembly Today

Bhubaneswar: The budget session of the Odisha assembly will begin at 10.30 am on Thursday.

The sixth session of the 16th assembly, which will have zero and question hours, is expected to have stormy proceedings with opposition BJP and Congress are all set to corner the state government over Kotia border row with Andhra Pradesh.

Today’s list of business:

Earlier speaking to media, Speaker Surjya Patro said that the budget session will be conducted in two sittings from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm and from 4 pm to 6 pm. However, on special workdays, the duration will be extended by one hour till 7 pm.

The question hour session will be conducted from 10.30 am to 11.30 am while the duration of the adjournment motion will be 90 minutes.

Apart from this, the House will discuss issues raised by the opposition bench for 55 to 90 minutes, the Speaker added.
