Puri: Weaving magic with her tiny body and extraordinary talent, a child star from Odisha has won Sardar Ballavbhai Patel Memorial National Award 2023 at an event in Bengaluru.
Having won many accolades at a tender age, 7-year-old Dibyashree Behera, who hails from Puri, has set a goal to carve her identity as an international model. She has excelled not only in dance, but also in acting, music and modelling, her family sources said.
When she was only 4, Dibyashree was conferred with a national level title four years ago bringing laurels to the state. She became the Little Miss Global Universe 2019 title winner leaving behind participants from 12 countries.
The little girl has also earned the Fashion Star Icon at the Star Sadhan and Art honour 2022 in Karnataka.
Seven-year-old Dibyashree had initiated her career at the tender age of three and has so far received many awards and accolades.
She hopes to become Miss India someday, besides promoting, propagating and popularising Odisha’s art and culture through her talents. Apart from Odissi and folk dance, she has also earned a name in the world of music and modeling.
Dibyashree is the daughter of Debashis Behera and Devi of Markandeswar Sahi of Puri. She leaves at Bangalore along with her parents, who happen to be IT professionals.
