Bhubaneswar: Any yoga guru would be proud to have such a disciple. In this case, the guru is a father and the shishya, his four-year-old daughter.
The ease with which Priya Priyadarshini Nayak can pull off the most difficult yoga asanas makes her father, yoga instructor Prakash of Nayagarh, swelling with pride. And why not? His little girl has made it to the Asia Book of Records, India Today reported.
Priya would be present during her father’s classes and imitate him. Seeing great potential in his daughter, Prakash decided to teach her formally and sure enough, she did not disappoint him.
Prakash is currently training Priya to become a gymnast and wants her to win medals for the country. It was his own cherished dream but he could not make it a reality due to financial constraints.
