Nabarangpur: A man and a woman in a live-in relationship allegedly committed suicide in the district on Tuesday.
According to police sources, Indra Gauda and Dutika Gouda, both residents of Gauda Sahi under Jharigaon police limits were living together in Indra’s place for over 15 days though they were not married.
Following a family dispute, both of them consumed poison to commit suicide on Tuesday. On being informed, Indra’s family rushed them to the hospital in Jharigaon. But they succumbed while undergoing treatment.
Police have registered a case of unnatural death and started investigation.
