Surat: Konark Suryas Odisha (KSO) are bracing up for their next challenge in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) 2024 as they will face India Capitals at Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat on September 29.
After winning their first match against Manipal Tigers at Barkatullah Khan Stadium by 2 runs on September 20, KSO’s second match against the same team at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium was washed out due to heavy rain and one point was awarded to both the teams.

According to the weather forecast, there is a high possibility of rain on September 29 as well.
The ground staff are doing their best to keep the ground ready for the next clash. Hopefully,
fans will get to see their favourite players on the field tomorrow.

Four youngsters, who have already represented Odisha Cricket Association at the U-16, U-19 and U-23 levels have joined KSO as nets bowlers. They looked quite excited while interacting and having the nets session with the players.
Saurav Kanojia, a left-arm spinner who has represented Odisha in U-23 level, said, “Before this I Had an opportunity to interact with Shahbaz Nadeem. I don’t know whether he remembers me Or not but I will utilize this opportunity to grab some good insights from the experienced left-arm spinner.”
Sahil Prasad, a left-arm pace bowler, said, “Irfan Pathan is in the team, which is like a dream come true for me, as I will get to know a lot about fast bowling from the maestro. I’m quite grateful that KSO provided me with such an opportunity.”
Jagdish Mohapatra, a right-arm fast bowler, expressed excitement over being part of the mix. “This is like a dream come true to be part of the team and practice with some of the best players in cricket. Their experience and guidance will surely help us excel in our career.”
Sushil Kumar Barik, another left-arm spinner, said, “I expect to gain as much knowledge as I can about cricket. It will help me prosper in my life and develop my bowling as well as my batting.”
