Bhubaneswar: Locals resorted to protest after the body of a missing boy was recovered in Odisha’s Khurda district on Sunday.
The locals placed the body of the deceased on National Highway 16 near Kuhudi police outpost demanding compensation and justice in the case. They alleged that the youth was murdered.
The boy belonging to Hatabaradi village in Tangi block went missing two days back and his body was found on Sunday morning near railway tracks, said sources.
The protest affected communication on the national highway for an hour. The matter was settled after intervention of police and officials of the district administration, sources added.
