Bhubaneswar: Protesting the gross inaction of the police in nabbing the bike looters, irate locals on Sunday staged a road blockade at the Naka Gate on the Khandagiri-Chandaka road.
The locals alleged that though frequents incidents of bike loot have occurred on the Khandagiri-Chandaka road, police have not taken any action against the criminals.
They also said that in the last two weeks, the criminals have looted two bikes from this area.
The locals also demanded the commissionerate police to set up a police outpost at the Naka Gate and take up regular patrolling in the area.
