Nayagarh: A group of locals of Kaliapalli village in Nayagarh district nabbed three dacoits during a loot attempt on Friday.
The trio was seen moving around the village suspiciously since morning. Later, they attempted to loot an employee of a finance company when the villagers caught hold of them.
Getting information, police rushed to the spot and arrested the three. They are being questioned at the local police station. Investigations are on to ascertain the motive behind the looters’ visit to the village.
Meanwhile, a group of villagers demanded strict action against these persons.
