Bhubaneswar: Two anti-socials were severely thrashed by locals at Unit-4 in Odisha capital on Monday afternoon.
According to sources, a lady teacher of Bhima Bhoi Blind School near the Exhibition Ground in Unit-4 was returning home in the afternoon. While she was crossing the road, two anti-socials came on a motorcycle and tried to snatch her gold chain.
But to their bad luck, the lady teacher caught hold of one of them and shouted for help. At this, the locals rushed to the spot and severely thrashed the two youths.
On being informed, police rushed to the spot and took the two anti-socials to the police station. Police later seized the motorcycle.
