Bhubaneswar: After the success of the Siksha Sanjog initiative to provide e-education through WhatsApp for Classes II to X in Khurda district, the Odisha government has decided to extend the service across the state from May 4.
The Odisha State Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) project director, Bhupendra Singh Poonia, has written to all District Education Officers (DEOs) to take necessary steps in this regard.
Giving details, Poonia said that the Siksha Sanjog programme will provide a PDF file of one chapter of each subject to the students in the WhatsApp group. There will be four classes every day with each class having 45 minutes to one-hour duration.
The progamme will continue for six weeks till June 13.
Notably, Siksha Sanjog was launched in all schools in 10 blocks of Khurda district, including in Bhubaneswar, from April 19.
