New Delhi: The central government on Wednesday decided to relax lockdown measures for some sectors from April 20. IT and IT-enabled services have been allowed to operate at 50 per cent strength. Certain industries will be allowed to function with restrictions. Similarly, agriculture and e-commerce operations have been allowed to restart.
However, relaxations will be applicable in areas which are less likely to turn into a COVID-19 hotspot.
Here are the guidelines for all workers operating during lockdown 2.0 phase:
1) Face mask in workplaces is mandatory
2) Temperature screening and sanitizers at workplace a must for employers
3) No large meetings, no shift overlaps, gap of 1 hour to be maintained between shifts
4) Employers to promote use of Arogya Setu app.
5) Workers will have to stay within the company’s premises or in “adjacent buildings”.
6) Transportation will have to be arranged by employers.
