Bhubaneswar: Parents and members of Odisha Abhibhabak Mahasangha staged a protest near Soochana Bhawan here on Monday to demand school fee waiver for three months amid the ongoing lockdown.
The protesters also sought action against private school authorities who are violating the social distancing rule by selling books in their institutions.
They urged the government to issue a directive to all private schools in this context.
On April 10, the Odisha government had advised all private schools to consider reduction/deferment of fees from April to June in view of the lockdown.
