New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced extension of the COVID-19 lockdown to contain the spread of the virus.
PM Modi said that lockdown 4.0 will be totally different and rules for the same will be announced before May 18. “We cannot let our lives be controlled by coroanavirus. Experts say that it will stay for a long time. But we must not let the crisis overwhelm us,” he said.
While pitching for local products, the PM said: “Be vocal about local.”
The Finance Minister will announce details of the Rs 20 lakh crore economic package on Wednesday, he added.
