Like fellow-citizens, Odia actress Pupul Bhuyan is following government guidelines during nationwide lockdown and staying indoors in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
Prior to the lockdown, I used to follow a strict timetable. Now the routine and food cycle has changed completely,” says Pupul.
She has realized that a lot of work needs to be done at home.
“I am fortunate that my husband is extending a helping hand in doing household chores. It’s quite a revelation to find out that he can do so much work at home. He helps me in cooking also,” confesses Pupul.
Unable to go out for walks or to the gym for workouts, Pupul has been focussing on doing yoga. “I’ve realized that yoga is the best stress buster and also helps to stay fit,” observes Pupul.
She has been watching a number of movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime as well as playing online games. “I have got addicted to PUBG during the lockdown period and made many friends through it,” she reveals.
The other activity which keeps Pupul busy is to look after stray animals. “I and my family members give food to stray animals, especially stray dogs in my colony,” informs the actress, who brought laurel to Odisha by winning the Opera Mrs India Global title at Opera Miss/Mrs India Global, 2018.
Pupul is worried about the fact that the entertainment industry will suffer losses, post Covid-19. “We have to think about our survival… because we don’t know that when the situation will become normal,” she says.
