Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Police registered a total of 149 cases for different violations of regulations and guidelines related to COVID-19 from the morning of March 24 till March 25 morning, said an official notification.
While the police registered 137 cases for violation of nationwide lockdown imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19, five cases were registered for home quarantine rules.
This apart, seven cases have been registered on other issues related to COVID-19.
Earlier, a couple in Bhubaneswar, one in Cuttack and another in Sambalpur were booked for violating home quarantine in Odisha.
