Konark: Police on Saturday arrested a private lodge owner and detained two woman allegedly engaged in sex work following a raid near the bus stand here.
The raid was carried out by a team of Konark police based on specific information that the lodge was being used for illegal activities.
Two women, the lodge owner and a customer were nabbed from the spot, while five more alleged sex workers and 10 customers managed to escape, police sources informed.
Of the two women detained by police, one hails from West Bengal while the other is a local resident.
