Bhubaneswar: It was almost clean sweep for BJP in Parliamentary elections 2024 in Odisha as the party came out victorious in 19 of the total 21 Lok Sabha constituencies.
Except Jajpur and Koraput seats, the BJP candidates romped home comfortably in the rest Parliamentary constituencies in the state.
As per the latest information from the Election Commission of India, Sarmistha Sethi of BJD was leading by a narrow of 2,632 votes over Rabindra Narayan Behera of BJP in Jajpur, while Saptagiri Sankar Ulaka of Congress defeated Kausalya Hikaka of BJD with a massive margin of 1,47,744 votes in Koraput.
