Low Pressure Area: Check IMD’s Heavy Rain Forecast Over Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD)’s regional centre here has forecast heavy rainfall over several districts of Odisha over the next five days because of a Low Pressure Area over south interior Odisha and neighbourhood with an associated cyclonic circulation.

July 11 (Till 8.30 am)

Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Koraput, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar.

July 11 (8.30 am) to July 12 (8.30 am)

Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Bolangir, Bargarh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Angul and Cuttack.

July 12 (8.30 am) to July 13 (8.30 am)

Yellow warning: Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Gajapati and heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Kalahandi, Rayagada, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Jajpur and Bhadrak.

July 13 (8.30 am) to July 14 (8.30 am)

Yellow warning: Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh and heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Khurda, Puri, Sonepur and Boudh.

July 14 (8.30 am) to July 15 (8.30 am)

Yellow warning: Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Bargarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak and heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Balasore, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur and Kalahandi.
