Bhubaneswar: The low-pressure area over south interior Karnataka and adjoining north interior Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema has become less marked, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its mid-day bulletin on Saturday.
“The trough from the cyclonic circulation associated with the low-pressure area over south interior Karnataka and adjoining north interior Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema to interior Odisha across coastal Andhra Pradesh at 1.5 km above mean sea level has become less marked,” the Met office said.
There was light rainfall at one or two places over south coastal Odisha districts and in Koraput, Malkangiri, Kandhamal and Rayagada.
The maximum temperature was 32.8 degrees Celsius, recorded in Sambalpur, while the minimum temperature was 18.5 degrees Celsius, recorded in Titlagarh and Phulbani.
The Met office forecast generally cloudy sky with possibility of thunder or lightning in Bhubaneswar in the next 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 30 degrees Celsius and 23 degrees Celsius respectively.

November 25
