“It is likely to concentrate into a depression over the south-west Bay of Bengal during next 48 hours and intensify further during subsequent 48 hours and then move west¬northwestwards towards Sri Lanka and South Tamil Nadu coast and reach near Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coast on November 26,” it added.
The bulletin further said that though the system will have no effect on Odisha, there will be thunderstorm with lightning at one or two places over the districts of Cuttack, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput, Ganjam, Nabarangpur and Jajpur on November 21.
