Low Pressure: Odisha To Receive Light To Moderate Rain From Nov 15

Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall from November 15 under the influence of a possible formation of a low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal.

“A low pressure area is likely to form over southeast and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal around 15th November, 2023,” the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday.

The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has made rainfall prediction for Odisha in connection with the forecasted system.

As per the MeT Centre, light to moderate rain/ thundershower is very likely to occur on November 15 at one or two places over the districts of coastal Odisha and dry weather very likely to prevail over the districts of interior region.

On November 16, light to moderate rain/ thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kalahandi & dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha, it added.
