Bhubaneswar: With a low-pressure over Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay off north Andhra-south Odisha coasts, the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow warning for 17 districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 2.30 pm on Wednesday.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower may affect some parts of Puri, Ganjam, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Balasore, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Bargarh, Sundargarh and Angul in three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places.
