Bhubaneswar: A Vistara flight en route to Bhubaneswar from Mumbai was diverted to Kolkata due to low visibility on Thursday morning, the airline informed on its Twitter handle.
The flight landed at Kolkata airport at 9.30 am.
Updating further on this diversion, Vistara said that flight UK543 departed from Kolkata at 11.19 am and arrived at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneshwar at 12.45 am.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), dense fog was seen in Cuttack, Nayagarh, Angul, Balangir and Phulbani this morning. Yellow warning for dense fog has also been issued for several districts of Odisha for another three days.
However, there will be no change in the night temperature during the next five days, it added.
