Balasore: Five members of a family were injured after an LPG cylinder blast in their home in Balsore district.
The mishap happened in the house of one Umakant Dalei at Kudei village near Soro on Monday.
According to reports, the cylinder burst when Dalei’s wife Sanjukta was cooking. Other family members sustained burn injuries while they were trying to save Sajukta. The entire house was charred in the incident.
The five injured persons were shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
