Patna: In a serious allegation, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has claimed that BJP president JP Nadda is distributing five bags of cash among voters during his recent visit to Bihar ahead of the second phase of Lok Sabha elections.
“I have received news that he (Nadda) has brought several bags with him. He is distributing them at places where elections are taking place. Get this checked, the allegations are true. I am not lying. Agencies are helping him openly. He is coming from Delhi and has brought five bags with him,” Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister told reporters in Patna on Wednesday.
The BJP or Nadda has not yet responded to Tejashwi’s charge.
Tejashwi also criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘mangalsutra’ jibe.
“Just look at the price of gold these days, women cannot even afford a mangalsutra today and they are talking about snatching it away,” the RLD leader said.
