L&T Contributes Rs 15 cr To CMRF For Cyclone Fani Affected Areas

Bhubaneswar: Larsen and Toubro (L&T) donated Rs 15 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to help Cyclone Fani victims and rebuild the affected areas on Tuesday.

L&T Senior Executive Vice President and member of the Board, Shailendra Roy visited Odisha State Secretariat and presented the cheque to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on behalf of the company and its employees.

He also congratulated the Chief Minister for his victory in the Odisha Assembly for the fifth time.

Roy also mentioned L&T’s contribution towards restoration work after Fani by deputing around 500 engineers, technicians and safety personnel who worked under CESU, WESCO, WBSEDCL etc.

L&T had also deployed equipment and machinery like DG set, pole-mounted cranes, hydra, JCB, tractors, excavators, tippers, cranes and water tanks during the restoration work.
