Luxury Resort In Sambalpur & 9 Textile Units Among 25 New Proposals Get Odisha Govt Nod

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday approved 25 new investment proposals worth Rs 4,739 crore, which is expected to generate 25,200 employment opportunities in 11 districts.

The approvals were granted at the 140th meeting of the state-level single window clearance authority (SLSWCA), chaired by chief secretary Manoj Ahuja.

The projects ranging from textiles, steel, chemicals, IT, infrastructure, logistics, renewable energy, tourism, metal downstream, circular economy, cold storage to capital goods, will come up in Khurda, Jajpur, Cuttack, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Balangir, Sonepur and Gajapati districts.

“The projects embody the state’s commitment to fostering sustainable industrialization and economic growth across diverse regions, aligning with the vision of Samrudha Odisha 2036,” an official release said.
