‘Made in London’ bullets seized from septic tank in Jeypore

Jeypore: Large number of bullets belonging to the British era were seized from a septic tank behind District Industries Centre here on Friday.

Some locals found the bullets inside a plastic container in the tank and informed police, who reached the spot and seized them. The bullets have ‘Made in London’ and ‘Made in Winster’ engraved on them, police sources said.

Additional SP of Jeypore Prabhat Prabhat Kumar Pradhan said, “Around 400-500 bullets have been seized till now. These bullets are most probably of pre-independence time and not in use now.”
