Budaun (UP): Admission to educational institutions are denied at times for various reasons. But this one will blow your mind.
Dinesh, a resident of Raipur village in Bilsi tehsil took her daughter to get her admitted to a government school in Buadaun, Uttar Pradesh, PTI reported.
The authorities rejected her application as the Aadhaar card mentioned her daughter’s name as ‘Madhu ka Panchwa Baccha’ (in Hindi) and ‘Baby Five of Madhu’!
The card also did not have the Aadhaar number. The image of the Aadhaar card went viral on social media, much to the amusement of netizens.
Dinesh was told to get the Aadhaar card rectified.
“Aadhaar cards are being prepared in post offices and banks. The mistake has happened because of gross negligence. We will alert bank and post office officials and strict action will be taken against those involved in such negligence,” District Magistrate Deepa Ranjan said.
