Mumbai: Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Saturday said that he will request the CBI team, probing the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, to investigate the relationship between Sandip Ssingh and BJP.
According to an ANI report, Deshmukh stated that he has been receiving complaints and requests to unearth the hidden relationship between producer Sandip and BJP.
Sandip, who claims to be a close friend of Sushant’s, had produced Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s biopic, starring Vivek Oberoi in the key role.
Deshmukh said that he will be forwarding the requests which he has received to the CBI.
Sandip Ssingh has been in the news for quite some time now for his alleged suspicious activities after Sushant’s demise.
He was spotted outside Sushant’s apartment on June 14, the day when the actor was found dead, and also at the mortuary on June 15.
His call records show that he was in touch with the Mumbai Police investigating officer and the ambulance driver who had carried Sushant’s body, after the actor’s last rites also.
