Thane: A medical practitioner from Maharashtra’s Thane district has been booked for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl in his clinic on July 31, police said on Saturday.
The incident allegedly took place when the doctor, on July 31, had checked all his patients and sent away his staff too.
Doctor, the accused, has been booked under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Police haven’t arrested the accused as yet, an official said.
