Mumbai: Mahindra on Friday announced that it will deliver 1,000 units of the highly popular new Thar during the festive season of Diwali.
Mahindra will be communicating the exact delivery timings with every customer via a customer connect process. The company is ramping up production to around 2,000 units per month and up to 3,000 by January, 2021.
Between November 7 and November 8, Mahindra delivered 500 units of the Thar throughout India.
The new Thar comes with either a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder mStallion 150 BHP petrol or a 2.2-litre mHawk 130 BHP diesel. There’s an option of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
