Mumbai: Mahindra has pulled the wraps off its new compact SUV, the XUV300 that is expected to be launched in January.
The sub 4-metre SUV will compete with the likes of Ford Ecosport and Tata Nexon. Mahindra states that its latest offering will have class leading features such as dual-zone climate control, seven airbags, four disc brakes, sunroof, HID headlights, LED DRLs, 17-inch alloys and large infotainment system.
Mahindra claims that the XUV300 will far exceed safety standard. Recently, the Tata Nexon had received 5 stars rating in Euro NCAP safety tests.
The details of the engines have not been revealed so far. The company said that there will be both petrol and diesel engines at launch. An automatic variant would be unveiled later.
