Mumbai: Mahindra has unwrapped the covers off its Brezza/Ecosport/Creta competitor – the XUV300. With 7 airbags, dual zone air conditioning and other first-in-class features, the company is betting big to make this its next best seller.
The SUV is based on SsangYong Tivoli and boasts of high-safety standards with 68 per cent high strength steel. It also has Hill Hold Assist, Rollover Mitigation system along with Anti-lock Braking system and ESP.
It is powered by 115 bhp 1.5 litre diesel engine that produces 300 Nm torque and a 110 bhp 1.2 litre petrol engine that makes 200 Nm torque.
The car comes with front parking sensors as well. Braking is supplied by 4 discs all around. The outside rearview mirrors have in-built defoggers.
The car will come in 6 colour options along with dual tones.
The petrol variant starts at Rs 7.9 lakh and the diesel at Rs 8.49 lakh. The top end is priced at 11.99 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. There is no automatic variant right now.
