Mahipur In Odisha To Come Under Indian Railway Network Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Mahipur in Odisha will be the newest addition to the railway map on December 26.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will throw open the new 12 km railway line from Nayagarh town to Mahipur and flag off the Khurda Road-Nayagarh Town passenger train up to Mahipur tomorrow.

The new stretch falls under the Khurda Road-Balangir rail link project.

The Minister will also flag off the Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express with a new look exterior, promoting the rich cultural heritage of Odisha.

Besides, he will be launching the unreserved tickets in Odia language in addition to Hindi and English, said a East Coast Railway release.
