Sambalpur: The mahurat of multilingual film “Jai Maa Samalei” was held at Samaleswar temple in Odisha’s Smbalpur city on Tursday.
A joint collaboration of Sunlisa Signature, Shirdi Saibaba Movies and New Generation Films, the mythological film will be directed by eminent director Sabyasachi Mohapatra.
The feature film will be made in several other languages apart from Odia in order to reach out to larger audience, said Mohapatra. Earlier, Shri Jagannath film originally made in Odia, was dubbed in 15 languages and released across the country.
Apart from Mohapatra, several eminent persons of Sambalpur including Prof Aditya Padhi, Arjun Panda, Hemant Mohapatra, Tapaswini Guru, Arvind Mohapatra, Paresh Chandra Mahapatra, Jitendra Hota, Sushant Mahapatra and Mantu Mahapatra attended the mahurat function.
