Major Crackdown: Delhi Police Arrest 7 Shooters Of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

New Delhi: In a significant crackdown on the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Delhi Police Special Cell arrested at least seven suspected shooters who were planning to target someone in Rajasthan, PTI reported.

Officials said that the arrests were made from Punjab and other states. A huge cache of arms and ammunition have been recovered from those nabbed.

Police suspect they were planning to target a person in Rajasthan on the direction of jailed gangster Lawrence’s close confidant Arzoo Bishnoi, an officer said.

The accused are being interrogated, with one of the questions being asked is whether they are, in any manner, linked in the attack and murder of Baba Siddique.

NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) leader and former Maharashtra minister Siddique was shot dead by three miscreants in Mumbai on October 12. The Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the murder.
