Sambalpur: A major fire broke out at a tar factory at Jayantpur here late Saturday night. No casualties were reported but the fire caused huge damage to property and goods.
Huge flames, smoke and intense heat filled the area causing panic among people as fire tenders rushed to the spot. It took them several hours to put out the fire.
Police and the fire department are investigating the cause of fire.
