Bhubaneswar: In a major reshuffle in Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) cadre, the Odisha government has transferred 37 officers and assigned them new assignments.
This is being linked to the Election Commission of India recent directive asking the state governments to transfer senior bureaucrats and police officers, who have spent three years in the present posting.
According to the notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department on Saturday, Kandhamal sub-collector Nimain Charan Sutar has been transferred as Nabarangpur ADM. She will be replaced by Khirodra Pradhan, currently posted as BDO at Delang.
Nabarangpur ADM Parikshita Sethi will replace Laxmikant Pyarilal Pradhan as Balangir ADM. Pradhan has been transferred as MD at OSTSCDFCC.
Cuttack ADM Harish Chandra Nayak and Srikant Tarai, currently posted as EO at Puri Municipality, will exchange places.
Sambit Kumar Nayak, currently posted as joint secretary to Government at the Health and Family Welfare Department, has will replace Manas Ranjan Padhi as Balasore ADM. Padhi, on the other hand, will succeed Bijay Kumar Dash as Ganjam ADM. Dash has been transferred as secretary in-charge at Bhubaneswar Development Authority.
Similarly, Nihar Ranjan Das, currently posted as AO at VIMSAR in Burla, has been transferred as Joint Secretary at Odisha Board of Revenue in Cuttack. Manoj Kumar Mohanty, currently posted as Joint Secretary to Government at I&PR department, has been transferred as Joint Secretary to Government at PE Department.
Sujata Mishra, currently posted as Joint Commissioner at LR in Koraput, has been transferred as Joint Commissioner at BDA in Bhubaneswar. Manoj Kumar Behera, currently posted as GM in RIC in Kalinganagar, has been transferred as PD at DRDA in Jajpur. He will replace Indramani Nayak, who has been transferred as GM at RIC in Kalinganagar.
Daulat Chandrakar, currently posted as Padampur sub-collector, has been transferred as Additional PD at DRDA in Bargarh. Pitambar Samal, currently posted as Dhenkanal sub-collector, has been transferred as Jagatsinghpur sub-collector. Prabir Nayak, currently posted as Rayagada sub-collector, has been transferred as Bonai sub-collector. Saphalya Mandit Pradhan, currently posted as Talcher Tehsildar has been transferred as Dhenkanal sub-collector. Pratap Chandra Pradhan, currently posted as BDO at Kukudahandi, has been transferred as Rayagada sub-collector. Priyaranjan Prusty, currently posted as APD, DRDA, Ganjam has been transferred as Chhatrapur sub-collector.
Tanmay Kumar Darwan, currently posted as Dharmagrah tehsildar, has been transferred as Padampur sub-collector. Debabrata Sahoo, currently posted as Chattrapur sub-collector, has been transferred as PD at DRDA in Ganjam. Hemant Kumar Bihari, currently posted as Korai BDO, has been transferred as Bhadrak sub-collector. Susama Bilung, currently posted as CEO at Rourkela smart city, has been transferred as additional sub-collector Keonjhar. Chinamyee Biswal, currently posted as Jagatsinghpur additional sub-collector, has been transferred as Jajpur additional sub-collector.
