Keonjhar: A total of 10 new coronavirus positive cases were detected in Keonjhar in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally in the district to 355 on Thursday.
Of the 10 cases, eight are local contacts and the other two positive cases have been reported from quarantine centres.
Among the eight local cases, four are from Barbil municipality. They are the contacts of an earlier positive case of Barbil municipality; three are from Keonjhar municipality and the contacts of an earlier positive case of Keonjhar municipality and another one from Hatadihi block and the patient is undergoing treatment at Bhubaneswar.
Two positive cases are reported from the Temporary Medical Camps (TMC) in Telkoi and Champua blocks.
With 254 recoveries, the Keonjhar district now has 101 active cases.
