Majority Of Local Contacts Among 23 New COVID Cases In Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar: The coronavirus tally in Keonjhar district rose to 318 on Monday with the overnight addition of 23 new positive cases.

Of the new cases, 17 are local contacts while one is a corona warrior. Five positive cases were reported from temporary medical centres (TMCs) in Saharapada and Patna blocks and one from home quarantine in Keonjhar Sadar block.

Among the local cases, six are from Barbil municipality area. They are the contacts of an earlier positive case while one local case is under treatment at a COVID hospital in Bhubaneswar.

Further contact tracing is on.

With 181 recoveries, Keonjhar district has 137 active cases at present.
